Antonio's Pizza Place opened its doors in January 1996 at 131 Bay Street in Glens Falls. With lots of long hours and the craziness to go with it Antonio's built up a thriving pizza business where others have failed. Two to be exact. I guess three's a charm as over the course of a few years business steadily increased to the point where the Caldaroni family decided they outgrew the spot and started looking for a bigger place.
As luck would have it, just down the street at 122 Bay Street the Caldaroni family purchased a building. While still running the pizza place at 131 Bay Street, 122 Bay Street was getting a complete overhaul to become the new Antonio's Pizza Place and Ristorante. With not one but two cozy dining room areas Antonio's was destined to become one of the locals favorite Italian restaurants.
With the Pizza Place delivery & takeout side of the business already established, the dine-in restaurant was being readied to make an impact! Emphasis is on home cooked style Italian favorites made to order fresh. No fast food style throw it in the microwave for a minute meals here. Every entrée is made to order fresh, it may take a bit longer, but it's the right way to do it says Antonio "Tony" Caldaroni.
